The Society of St. Ursula, Province India, joyfully launched its newly designed official website on January 11, 2026, marking a significant milestone in its journey of communication and mission outreach. The website was launched on the auspicious occasion of the Province Chapter 2026, held at Shanthi Ashram, Pune.
The official inauguration of the website was graciously carried out by the Superior General, Rev. Sr. Rita D’Silva, in the esteemed presence of the Provincial Superior, Rev. Sr. Marian Thoms, along with the members of the Province Chapter.
From Static Presence to Dynamic Digital Mission
For nearly a decade, the Province had a simple and static website that primarily served as an informational platform. While it provided essential details about the congregation, the growing needs of communication in today’s digital world called for a more engaging and dynamic online presence.
